ATTIVA
The Ultimate Technology to Treat Sagging Skin
ATTIVA® Subdermal Induced Heat (S.I.H.) Technology is the result of 5 years of technical and scientific research. ATTIVA®S.I.H. Technology offers patients dramatic aesthetic enhancements to the quality of their skin with no downtime, no scarring and with immediate results. A new benchmark in the medical treatment of ageing loose skin.
What is ATTIVA?
ATTIVA® is a non-surgical, FDA approved, non-invasive radiofrequency treatment for the face and body that provides visible results with little to no downtime. ATTIVA® is unique because of the Subdermal Induced Heat Technology (S.I.H.) delivery system, which delivers radiofrequency energy beneath the skin to generate substantial heat without causing damage to the skin’s surface. The radiofrequency energy triggers an immediate contraction of relaxed collagen fibers beneath the skin and initiates a biochemical response that prompts fibroblasts to generate new collagen and elastin. The major differentiator of ATTIVA® is how it does not damage the skin’s surface while other treatments typically induce intentional injury to the skin’s surface, resulting in redness, scars, and prolonged downtime.
What are the benefits of an ATTIVA® RF Treatment?
- Collagen and elastin production: Collagen is an essential protein that gives skin elasticity and structure. Radiofrequency can stimulate collagen production, resulting in the appearance of healthier and firmer skin, and less fine lines and wrinkles.
- Non-surgical: ATTIVA® S.I.H. Radiofrequency is a non-invasive treatment with no large incisions or sutures.
- Minimal discomfort: ATTIVA® is generally well-tolerated, with most patients experiencing minimal discomfort during the procedure.
- No downtime: The ATTIVA® S.I.H. device uses a microcannula, a thin, flexible tube that moves easily under the skin, leading to less trauma, risk of bruising, and swelling.
- Exceptionally safe: The double real-time temperature control, coupled with the high accuracy of the thermocouple, ensures unparalleled safety during the entire procedure with an unwavering focus on the treated area. It is safe in all skin types.
- Treats all body parts: ATTIVA® is safe for the face, neck, abdomen, buttocks, arms, and legs.
After the ATTIVA® treatment, patients notice immediate improvement; however, the complete outcome becomes evident after 2 to 3 months post-treatment. This time frame is crucial as it allows the body the necessary duration to generate new elastin and collagen fibers, which contribute to the ultimate results. ATTIVA® treatment results can last two to five years. Natural degradation stemming from aging, environmental factors, and lifestyle choices will persist, and retreatment can be done as needed to maintain results.
What is involved with an ATTIVA® RF Procedure?
ATTIVA® utilizes the use of a flexible microcannula to administer anesthetic via injection makes the procedure more comfortable. Once the skin is anesthetized, a thin electrode emitting radiofrequency is applied slowly and carefully for a specific amount of time, depending on the area being treated. The procedure is closely monitored by a camera, which measures the skin’s surface temperature to ensure its safety. Following the treatment, there is no visible change to the skin’s appearance, although some individuals may experience mild swelling or bruising. Over the course of 4 to 6 weeks, the lifting effect becomes more noticeable and continues to improve as new collagen is produced. One or more treatments may be required to achieve individual results, with the option to repeat the procedure every 4 to 6 months.
Is the ATTIVA® RF treatment painful?
Patients experience minimal discomfort while others don’t feel anything at all. Our goal is to keep you comfortable for your treatment. During the ATTIVA® treatment, the area is numbed with local anesthesia as well as topical numbing cream. Pro-Nox™, a type of quick onset laughing gas also enhances patient comfort.
